What makes a successful character?

  I think that Balto was an awsome character because I thought wolves were really cool when I was a kid. I liked the whole wolf-dog deal a lot. I mean it was a really cool movie bacause he fought a bear, climbed up a mountain cliff, all this awsome stuff that I would have loved to do. He was kind of a hero of mine when I was little.  

Heady Metal

My friend Ben Heady wanted me to make a poster or picture of him, so I drew this and I'm going to be painting it in Photoshop.

Current social issues art

this is the art peace i chose because i think it really visualizes an issue we're having in today society: people thinking they are overwaite. It shows a girl with a messuring tape wrapped around her face. It also has a not coving her mouth say that she stopped eating because someone thought she was fat. The medium is ink, and i think the dark color helps with the mood. It's not really supposed to be happy, i don't think.

Guernica

  I think this is a very interesting picture. I think what Picasso was trying to reflect on it was the sensation of pain, because all the animals and people seem to be experiencing this. The whole picture seems to show a negative image like your not supposed to be happy when you look at it. Its a good painting though and if that was his point, he made it very well.

Ive decided not to tell you all about the meaning of this is because you can probably figure it out.

Logo and Logo Design Differences

A logo is a picture that is used as a symbol for an idea or company, like the McDonals M. A logo design is the same thing with a name under it, usually the name of the company. It also usually has something to do with the picture. (see above)

Concept Sketch #1

This was the concept sketch i used originally. You can see that I just started on it and then changed some things to make it more original. For example, the longer teeth and chin extentions and color choice were all my ideas, original as can be.

Symbolic Images and Symbolism

Okay, it appears that symbolic imaging is using small pictures to make another bigger picture. Symbolic   looks like making a picture represent an idea, like the pictures on football helmets and uniforms represent the teams.

Concept sketch

I didnt really have a concept sketch because i free handed it, but I messed up on the first try because I used the wrong program. So I used that picture instead. (see above) And sorry about there only being one sketch. I just do stuff when i get inspired and I don't need 10 sketches to get on idea for a drawing. It's just not necessary for me to do all that for inspiration. This is all i came up with.
